Higher Calling Martial Arts offers training in Martial Arts in a fun family oriented Christian environment that is designed to offer training in pursuing optimum health, personal growth and of course practical self-defense techniques.

At Higher Calling Martial Arts we gives all credit to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for the existence of our school and for the opportunity to participate in this amazing martial art but also for allowing us to impact those in our community through outreach programs, service projects and partnering with other ministries.

The majority of the instructing at Higher Calling Martial Arts is done by Mrs. Chris Jackson. She is a 4th Degree Deputy Master Chief Instructor who has committed herself to not only offering martial art training specific to each student’s needs but also to connecting with her students in areas outside of martial art training to helping them become their best both inside and outside the dojang. Having a focus on our principles of Humility, Integrity, Gentleness, Perseverance, Self-Control, and Unbreakable Spirit helps students continue to build their personal character.  At HCMA we train to become personally stronger physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

A large number of our students train along side their family members.  This helps each student to continually grow individually while helping to create a stronger bond within the family unit.  By becoming a student at Higher Calling Martial Arts, you are also joining a martial art family that is there to support and encourage you through your daily walk. We all help each other fulfill our own personal goals and become all that we were created to be. We would love for you to become part of our family!

We finished up January and February focusing on our first principle of humility. As we go through spring (March and April) we will be moving on to our next principle of INTEGRITY. This is another character trait and principle that we find in the Bible and is so important as we go through our lives.

As we go through the months of January and February putting a heavy emphasis on Choi Kwang Do's First Principle - HUMILITY - I have been posting some encouraging quotes and Bible verses on Facebook. I wanted to share them as well on our webpage as not everyone is on facebook and not everyone who is on facebook checks it regularly. I will be updating this list each day as well. The more we as a school and individuals consciously focus on being humble, the more we are able to ministry to those around us!!!
